Our Hopscotch Beam Mat is designed to meet the rigorous demands of gymnastics clubs. At 3-ft wide x 12-ft long, it is uniquely dimensioned—slightly narrower but longer than traditional panel mats, providing ample space for practice. Constructed for high-quality performance, the mat is 1-3/8 inches thick and folds every two feet, creating a compact 3 ft x 2 ft x 9 inch block when folded for additional skills as well as easy storage and transport.
Featuring a distinctive beam stripe on one side, and a hopscotch pattern on the other, this reversible mat offers a variety of drills and skill stations.
Preschool:
- Mini hops, jumping forward, mini tuck jumps
- Chassé, giant steps, side-to-side ski jumps
- Long jump contests and spacing for classroom management
Recreational Classes:
- Beginner tumbling skills, lengthen tumbling skills, and handstand drills
- Balance beam progressions: cartwheels, walkovers
- Basic beam dance concepts: turns, split jumps, leaps
Team Training:
