This balance beam offers a superior platform for athletes to refine their skills and achieve peak performance. A balance beam able to withstand rigorous daily training sessions, ensuring a long lifespan. It features a durable suede like material, height adjustments from 100cm up to 125cm, and strong leg structures that provide a sturdy base.
Balance Beam Dimensions
AAI’s CLASSIC™ Balance Beam measures 16 feet 5 inches long by 4 inches wide and weighs 310 lbs. Consult with your local AAI rep on specific spacing recommendations for your gym. *Always refer to current FIG Code of Points or USAG Rules and Policies for equipment spacing specifics.

Surface Quality
Feel confident while executing your beam skills with the CLASSIC™ beam. Covered in a durable, suede-like material, it provides stability and is resistant to slipping, ensuring a secure performance. The beam’s top surface has a ¼” (6mm) thick layer of sponge foam an a ¼” (6mm) layer of neoprene rubber giving optimal cushioning and response.
Adjustability For All Athletes
The easy-to-use height adjustments make for effortless modifications, and smooth transitions between athletes. The CLASSIC™ Balance Beam goes as low as 100cm up to 110cm, 120cm and as high as 125cm. Equipped with leg structures that can be adjusted inward to allow the beam end to extend over a landing pit. Providing a harmless environment for gymnasts to practice beam dismounts until they are confident to execute without a cushioned landing zone.
Available in reflex adjusting (RA) and reflex non-adjusting (RNA).
Stability
The balance beam’s strong, steel legs, powder-coated in a blue metallic finish, provide a stable base for the gymnast to execute skills with confidence, minimizing the risk of instability or accidents.
